Concept: Authors "covering" older books the way that musicians cover older songs. Who would you like to see cover an old story, and which one? (Author does not need to be alive) I'd love to see a Pratchett version of The Hitchhiker's Guide.
Jilly Cooper covering Pride and Prejudice. 😄
"It Ends with Us" cover by Jane Austen. Just imagine the possibilities, imagine
Definitely Brandon Sanderson covers The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
I used to wonder what if Anne Rice wrote Twilight instead what it'd be like instead 😅
I would be delighted if I could read (Herber lee) (don't kill the mockingbird) by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Given how Joyce's "covering" of the Odyssey turned out, i say: What are we waiting for??
I'm really tempted to do a Dwynveian cover of the Odyssey.
Idk I kinda wanna see a Thoreau version of A Wrinkle in Time 🙈
I'd love to see a redo of any number of Lovecraft stories by Diana Wynne Jones.
