I thought the person that I was replying to was suggesting a token to remove ads, maybe I misread it. Either way, the token for access thing will never happen. It just doesn’t make sense for publishers.

I know, but the point is that a paid token to remove ads is competing with tools that remove ads for free, so it’s unlikely that many people who are bothered by ads would even see them in the first place. You’re probably better off with just a digital tip jar.

The subscription model doesn’t. Why would anyone subscribe to an outlet that they think publishes clickbait?
