Well, they've got at least one of the best members of my old app-integrated games team from FFG working on this one. So they've already got some of the smartest folks from tabletop on this one too.
I'm really excited for this. When I was the digital director at FFG, we talked a lot about the potential of bringing the Jackbox-style format to more "serious" games. Glad to see something in that vein coming to reality!
Sunderfolk sounds like a high-concept video game, and it is... for a video game. These ex-Blizzard vets are bringing cooperative tabletop gameplay to a mainstream audience. Take note, tabletop devs. The smartest folks in video games are hot on your heels. www.polygon.com/impressions/...
You’ll need to get your phone out for this one
Every game is mounted with a bracket at the bottom and magnets at the top so they are secure on the wall but can be removed and used.
We announced a new game today! It's a bit of a tease so far, so join us tomorrow where we're going to reveal a ton more details! t.co/VTfqp1uv1A
On top of that, Earthborne is doing local productions to avoid oceanic freight, meaning we not only have to match to the 1st printing, but also every other printing we're doing simultaneously. 😵💫
This is not the most glamorous step, but a critical one, and maybe more involved than you might think. Not only do we have to make sure everything printed correctly, but we have to make sure color, cut, and everything matches the 1st printing since the cards can be combined.
Wow. This is one of the most glowing, flattering reviews I've ever had of one of my designs. I had a tear in my eye listening to how the gambles we made on our emergent storytelling and other weird systems worked out for Matt.
A BIG AND RICH video for you folks this week - a labour of love for a game that frankly blew us away. Earthborne Rangers might look familiar, but it is WEIRD...
1/2 I put this to the test and it works brilliantly—if you use the right labels. Avoid the more common 2/3" x 1.75" labels. Those create messy overhang. .5" x 1.75" labels like these work best: www.amazon.com/dp/B09HP5MPG... Also, I made a template for positioning art. The link follows. 🎲✂️
