Akiva once got a settlement offer at like 1am with the stipulation that it had something like a 2 hour lifespan. Turns out that having someone for whom 1am East coast time is 10pm (or 6/7pm Hawai'i time) means these kinds of shenanigans affect you less. Akiva still did the work himself, though.
