I’m just imagining all the universes where vampires are very much NOT open and accepted and the amount of change that would have to happen before the humans got around to “amend the copyright law” in their favor lol.

But surely when the existence of vampires is proven and the world begins to have to deal, there will be a test case on ~some thing~ pretty rapidly. Not copyright (unless we’re starting with Walt D) but something inheritance related, perhaps? Some interest group jumping in.
