IMO the funniest recent discourse around this was when God of War: Ragnarok released artwork of Thor (with a power belly + the biggest traps you've ever seen). Reactionary Reddit went "Fat Thor is wokism gone haywire" and Powerlifter Reddit went "oh this guy could deadlift a truck"
