New in the shop: a gentle and calming drawing of a wee mouse underneath peaceful bamboo. I love using the humble pencil to create soft and cozy scenes like this one. For the child in all of us, this piece pairs the quietness of Zen with whimsical cuteness. www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/161233668

A pencil drawing of mine featuring a bamboo stalk with leaves and a mouse sitting on the grassy ground underneath it.

Careless people, refusing to wear respirator masks and allowing Covid-19 to invade their bodies with every intake of breath. Careless people, with no concern for the lasting damage that they are doing to themselves. Careless people, blithely choosing an outcome of serious harm.

hi scientists 🧪 i'd love to hear your thoughts on bluesky! • what groups/people in science aren't here yet, that you want to see? • what can bluesky do to make it a better place for science comms? • what external tools do you use that should integrate bluesky support? • anything else!

I know... This is the part of fur kid parenthood that slays me. To have to make decisions on their behalf, to be unable to explain to them what's happening and why... But I also know that even in their darkest hours they do know, they absolutely know, they're loved. Angie knows too. ❤️‍🐾

Oh, sweet girl, what an ordeal... I can imagine your stress and anxiety... Does she have a cone now or something to stop her from scratching her stitches? So long as they can operate, there is good life ahead. She'll be OK, you'll see. Angie is incredibly lucky to have you. ❤️‍🐾🫂

How's Angie?

Absolutely. The mere thought that the pain can have an end date of my own choosing has helped me through a lot of crises.
