Note that I am only speaking for myself here, I had no knowledge of or involvement in this or any similar decisions. However, like many others, I am puzzled by how to work within the bounds of this Supreme Court ruling.

My personal view is that the Supreme Court equated two things that are not equal - historical racial favoritism towards a majority race, compared to attempting to alleviate the measurable disadvantages that come with being part of a minority race. This is, in my view, a false equivalency.
