Further proving that Brooklyn is the center of the universe, united is hosting a celebration of its new global route expansion at the just opened Domino Sugar building event space. Yes, there’s food from all the new destinations. Great stuff.

UBN - Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia KHH - Kaohsiung, Taiwan GOH - Nuuk, Greenland Quite possibly the only thing these far flung places have in common is that United will be serving them with 737s staring summer 2025. UBN and KHH will be served using Guam-based aircraft via Tokyo NRT.

I might start checking this app (currently the 149th most popular social media app in the App Store, right above “Oops: One Night Stand”) weekly for messages but I still don’t see enough activity or people I know to bother putting real time into it.

And back to Osaka on Hankyu Railway Limited Express. It’s a pretty fast train with service every 15 minutes and locals in between, but it was packed for the 40+ minute ride. Wasn’t lucky enough to get a seat.

Bus operators: Please don’t do this! If you have a bus stop hub please just put all the routes as one stop, not multiple! It makes it incredibly difficult to understand all the routes stopping as they’re hiding under individual map pins. And it looks awful.

Just missed an Osaka Metro train. Wasn’t even able to walk halfway down the platform before the next train arrived. There are no unexplained 17 minute gaps in service here as is so common at home. It simply doesn’t happen.
