Maybe someone like @georgeperetzkc.bsky.social would know how frequently the CJEU do this when they allow an appeal. I was certain it was going back to the GC, the Commission asked for it to be sent back to the GC, but it's now done.

Alas - actually not alas - my interest in this is now purely that of a bystander as I don’t have to dream up news or opinions these days. My only view is this shows the weaknesses in Irish media reporting as they have no expertise and no reach outside Dublin. But that’s not news to anyone really 😀

I don’t know the statistics but it’s common enough. And of course a lot to be said for resolving issues so as to avoid further litigation (and probably another appeal).
