The fact that Deadline--owned by Penske media, which is indebted to the studios--actually published this should tell you how bad it is on the studio/streamer side. All they have to do is make a fair deal with us. Instead they're infighting.

Executives should be paid in residuals for shows that came out during their tenure. After a 48-month vesting period. They can buy stock with their residuals checks, just like actors and writers can. Aligned incentives for quality programming, rather than slash and burn "executive leadership."
