Good work here but NB mutual recognition for architects was supposed to be the easiest profession to do and it's been seven years since CETA was signed. Conclusion: doing mutual recognition of professional qualifications in trade deals, as the UK found in its post-Brexit talks with the EU, is hard.

BTW in this area hats off (as usual in trade) to the Aussies and the Kiwis, who along with the EU single market have got closer than anyone to automatic mutual recognition. Most PTAs don’t really do it though. 🥝🦘✔️ www.mbie.govt.nz/business-and....
