Coffeeneuring backlog. Coffeeneuring #1 was last Sunday. Up the Sawmill Creek path to check out the new bike crossing over Hunt Club and the path alongside the LRT south route. The path is rideable but not really finished. Then back to the South Keys Starbucks for coffee. #coffeenuering#OttBike

A red bike with a front basket, viewed side on, leaning against the front of a Starbucks. The coffee shop doors are to the right of the bike

Old knitting patterns for babies are full of cable knit pants. Are they making a comeback? Surely not for non-baby people.

I had no idea this happened to other people. When it happened to me it seemed to shut off the "PIN memory" part of my brain and I had to get new PINs for several accounts.

Amazing 2011 linocut by Torres Strait Islander Alick Tipoti in the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. Absolutely extraordinary technical accomplishment, probably the largest single-block linocut print in the world.

Intricate black and white images of rays, turtles, dugong, bats, birds and fishes, including background images picked out by traditional Torres Strait patterns
The previous image in context: one end of a single roll of paper relief printed with a corresponding roll of lino many metres long, mounted on canvas and hung in the Museum of Contemporary Art.

I don't think poutine was available. We had to eat doughnuts. Misery is timeless though.

Maybe - my impression is that institutional culture and expectations of students are much more stressful now.
