When Edith Widder & her team were trying to capture video of giant 🦑, they lured them in w/a flashing blue light called an “e-jelly”. A squid glides into frame to investigate the light w/their arms. It’s so dark that the 🦑’s body dissolves into the inky blackness. #Squidtember

Beautiful illustration! I'm reading Dr. Widder's book "Below The Edge Of Darkness" and it's a captivating read.

I love the colour palette you used, especially the red on the inside of the shells.

After a storm, on the rocky beach of Batumi, you can find a lot of interesting things - driftwood, walnuts, remnants of algae and broken shells - all mixed with colourful minerals from the local mountains. #art
