Most CGI art, especially from this time, tries to crank up the contrast and color and ✨cool✨ effects that are impressive for a moment. Even when realistic, the focus is on idealized settings and important subjects. I'm glad the artists found this atmospheric moment worthy of their efforts.
Sometimes I think they enjoy our desperation; it's a power thing. Or that they hope Trump wins and they get to heroically fight that system in the streets: the same fantasy as right-wing gun nut types, and just as grounded in reality. In any case they're too comfortable with the idea of a Trump win.

During Apollo 11, the crew in flight were surprised by a computer issue. Turns out they were a touch careless and had left too many tasks running: but it was programmed wisely and prioritized the tasks well, avoiding problems. Women's work saved the mission that day.
I always remember that it was men who got the glory of first setting foot on the moon (and the only ones who've had the opportunity, so far): but part of what got them there were well-programmed computers. At the time, programming was seen as women's work: tedious, not glorious.
