#SANGCHENG PROJECT RUNWAY AU HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHA

👗 PROJECT RUNWAY AU 👠 -sangcheng meet on a season of project runway. Actually the whole mdzs cast is there, including jc’s maverick adopted brother wwx, mxy, lans, jgy, mianmian, wq, su she, xxc etc -jc’s best looks are your standard commercial sporty (but not tacky) as well as edgy. Black, grey, purple, with touches of cyberpunk. Definitely modern and angular. -nhs’s style is more avant-garde and shall we say wanky, but he also likes flowing fabrics. Though he isn’t one for loud prints (neither of them are), he is versatile. Excellent at tailoring. Plays with textures. Loves landscape prints. -they don’t work tgt until late in the series but both work with Wen chao who is a team wrecker with bad taste and a big ego, on different challenges -in the hotel they share a room 👀 and grow closer and bitch about the challengers/challenges (eg Wen Chao, and even some judges, nhs complains to jc that a judge completely misinterpreted his creation) -nhs takes forever to get ready in the mornings -lots of UST 👀 but cameras... -the dream is cut short when jc is eliminated during an avant-grade themed challenge (top 8?). It’s a competition after all.
-nhs makes it to top 5 before also being shock eliminated. By now it’s obvious to contestants that the staff are heavily favoring wwx to win. -Wwx has charmed them all w his work ethic, humility, spontaneity, and unique point of view (not coming fr high fashion or fashion school) -nhs hates that of course. Not wwx or his work since he recognises and acknowledges their vision, but the rigging. Which is a bit rich of him! -Jc has complicated feelings about it too tho he ends up hearing about it more fr eliminated contestants (in their hotel) than actually experiencing it -every night is party night at that hotel btw. Nielan hook up, when nhs arrives sc chat all night & make out -they want to keep it professional bc this is a competition and they want a career, but on the last night, before they all go home (8 weeks before NY fashion week), sangcheng drunkenly sleep tgt -nhs panics the morning after -jc seeks nhs out during the show but he’s sitting w mxy and avoids him -final 3 are wwx, jgy, and mianmian -predictably, wwx wins that season. Jc is happy for his brother of course but this just makes him hungrier for success and he withdraws into his projects. meanwhile nhs moves to Europe and follows his pretentious, extra dreams.
~ TIME SKIP ~ -their careers start to see the success they’ve worked so hard for (both having to work against the stigma of being contestants as the industry deems them lowbrow) -nhs achieves relative success in Europe but hits a creative block 3 years in -jc has had years of obscurity but was invited back to runway bc they see potential -nhs has been trying to talk to jc for the 5 years since their season at events but in vain -people think nhs went back on runway to drum up flagging interest in his brand but obviously he didn’t, he did so he would have a full month in the same place as jc -they reunite on project runway: all stars (w other mxtx charas eg sqq) -in his little creative corner, jc has grown into more gothic styles, incorporating that into his designs but still retaining the sleek sporty edge -nhs is really impressed by jc’s evolution -jc wins that season -sangcheng get together and they release a collab line
