I'm not a lawyer, nor do I currently have any interest in Switch emulation. But like Yuzu before it, Ryujinx getting taken down raises the question: What did they do wrong, exactly? (Besides "arghh Nintendo bad, give me clicks")
It's not everyday that big corporations take legal action against emulators, Nintendo included. While they and Valve got Dolphin pulled from Steam, Dolphin itself is still around. It was also clear that there were multiple factors that lead to Yuzu's demise.
