A Walk in the Park, acrylic, 20x25cm. This enigmatic stone or concrete cube isn’t actually lurking in the park at the end of my street, but my subconscious thinks it should be.

It looks very like the WWII anti-tank blocks which are to be found at many places along the east coast of Britain. (The ones I know best are around the Tyne sands, East Lothian.)

What if this cube is, actually, in the park, but it disappears every time you visit because it is shy? It wants to see you, but it daren't show its textured face.
