While I don’t want to blame art teachers too much since they’re often overworked and pressured by schools to keep up with the ”current trends”, I really wish there was more general awareness on the ethical issues of this. It’s not being talked nearly enough outside of online spaces. 2/2
I’ve noticed a very worrying trend in art education here lately – the use of A/I image generating is already being implemented into art class assignments, it’s surprisingly common especially in high schools. 1/2
