It's mentioned above that the tourbilon is the spinny thing on some watches, but there's also "billon" which is term for alloys that contains some less than 50% precious metal. The "war nickels" made in the US from 1942-45 were technically billon.

A US "war nickel, identifiable by its unusual color and the mint mark located above Monticello on the reverse (as opposed to on the front). Since nickel was needed as a component for armor plate, the composition of the 5-cent nickel piece* was temporarily changed from 75% copper, 25% nickel to 56% copper, 35% silver and 9% manganese.

*The official name of "that coin with Jefferson on it", as during various periods of US history there have been five-cent silver pieces ("half dimes") and three cent nickel-pieces (useful when that was the price of a first-class stamp).
