My two-volume book 'Exiting the Factory: Strikes and Class Formation' beyond the Industrial has recently been published by @brisunipress.bsky.social. It has been claimed that working classes have become fragmented or have vanished due to the financialisation of capitalism. I disagree. 1/

I look at strike in the public and service sectors and show that new forms of solidarity between workers emerge, which can be seen as forms of working class formation. 2/
