Hello Gothicists! I'm realizing I have a knowledge gap around Gothic short stories, especially in the 18th century and in the 21st century. Any suggestions for must-reads? I know more of the 19th and 20th century American short stories, but haven't been exposed to much else in the genre.

In an effort to find more of ~my people~ on here (gothicists, theatre lovers, literature scholars), I have taken to mildly stalking the following list of @romgothsam.bsky.social to discover new people to follow! If anyone has any suggestions re: people or groups up those alleys, though, let me know!
