The damane shielding Rand and not Ishy without line of sight is sus. Mo seeing that the weave was a shield from a mile away is also sus Elayne not seeing the weaves & shield on Rand is very sus Altogether, I found those things distracting and a little frustrating #wotshowspoilers

I was distracted by the physical improbability of Matt's magic ashanderei construction. It let the show move quickly, but I really could not believe that his little tie job would have held for more than 5 seconds. #wotshowspoilers #wheeloftime

I don't like Moiraine firing the ships. Since they've mentioned the oaths *so* many times, I wish they had found a way to stay consistent with them, and I haven't heard a good explanation yet. #wotshowspoilers #wheeloftime

I agree with your notes. Also, Elayne healing Rand felt so wrong (please let Nynaeve have a W this season), and I also wish they had found another way to do the "bannered 'cross the sky in fire"-thing. It was a good enough episode, but I'm truly flabbergasted it's rated higher than S2E6 on IMDB.
