“Let's pair/mob when it makes sense”. Sure, just be aware that your sense for determining “when it makes sense” was shaped by the opposite way of working (work in isolation) which likely optimizes for having hard time finding scenarios when pair/mob makes sense. 1/2
The more we speculate upfront about what the design should be, the less likely that we'll build the contextual awareness muscle needed to look at the existing design and ask “what is it trying to tell me that I'm not hearing?”.
