Dahlias are so lovely. I must plant some in my garden. Do yours come back in spring?

Yes. But I need to dig out the tubers before the first frost and keep them in a dry place with a temperature between 3 and 12C. Then I plant them back in spring.

I dig mine every year -- store them in our basement in paper bags with vermiculite. Rarely ever lose any from year to year! (They were absolutely gorgeous this year.)
