Uni contestants on University Challenge. I'm going to die.
I was always under the impression museums would require degrees in ... museum-ing or library stuff or specific preservation techniques. How did it work for you? (I've a daughter-in-law who is a specialist museum curator and she'd be horrified at my above terms I know.)

It is good to see people I respect taking this position. Far too many do not, and far too many of us — experts in the field — will remember them, just as we did those who cheered on the Iraq War.
I don't know how old you are, but I'm old enough to have been on the front lines fighting for women's rights. And back then, women in the West were groped, oggled, whistled at, slapped on the rear (such fun for many men), and fair game for sexist comments all day long. Some men are still like that.
Sorry you feel the need to read into it more than I ever said. Interesting that people really REALLY want to shoe-horn preconceived biases into a simple, respectful, cultural observation...*by an anthropologist*.
