It is kind of wild how much time Ts spend giving feedback, but how little time schools make to teach Ss to record, track, and use that feedback.
Reminds me of Kluger and DeNisi’s 1996 historical review. If you’re reviewing feedback research, check it out. They review every piece of research on feedback from 1905 to 1996 (!!) and find that 2/5ths of the studies show feedback actually HURTING learning because of how students react to feedback
