Also apropos of it being disability pride month - another easy thing you can do to make your social media posts more accessible is to use camel case, effectively capitalising each word in hashtags. This is easier for everyone to read and can be processed by screen reading software.

Oooh I stopped doing that earlier this year because I read some social media accessibility tips and one tip said that capitalization in hashtags makes it harder for screenreaders? I agree that the capitalized first letters are a lot easier to read though, so I think I'll go back to doing it!
