Cotswolds more common in West Country (obvs) tends to be more hanky based, usually traditional light outfits; northwest style is more like clogging and Border is the one with the rag coats and painted faces, more common through the midlands (refers to Welsh borders)

I'm from the NW England and I've never come across it. Although I've lived in Scotland my whole adult life. I didn't know there was so much variation!
