btw finished xabungle today. pretty good, probably liked it better if it spent more time being a western but i can't complain too much. real low body count for this one too, to an almost comical degree. chill was there.

the final scene really felt like a more hopeful return to the ending of zambot 3. where zambot adds a layer of cynicism, a question of whether or not kappei's happy ending is only the result of his Usefulness, xabungle instead plays it completely straight. these are jiron and elchi's friends, of course they're cheering. it's kind of sappy but you know what sometimes you need that. the power of friendship is real and so is the power of this giant transforming landship.
