Once upon a time on social media I got called a Nazi for defending the categorical imperative.
No, worries. It's definitely my mistake. As in, I mistook this for a good faith disagreement.
Oh I'm so sorry. I get these replies directly, so it seems like you're responding to me! Apologies, I was really confused.
"dual genocide talk", what, where? me??
Sorry, what post?
My main point was merely that no ideology can ever justify or legitimate certain kinds of rights violations. I respectfully disagree about defining fascism, but it's also beside my point. Whether or not it could be called "fascist violence", it'd still be utterly unjustifiable.
Specifying the motives behind the violence, but obfuscating the targets of the violence.
The problem lies with your faulty logical analysis.
So you are obfuscating the targets of said violence instead. No, you can't kill people for political reasons. And if you think that's ok because your political reasons are more important than those people's rights, then you are being a fascist in the sense I described earlier.
Again, I know you probably disagree with my concept of fascism. Also, why are you using 'political violence' as a euphemism? As a weasel word to equate violence against humans with other legitimate forms of (non-dehumanizing) political action?
