i’m thinking about this now because the other day someone asked my mom if i “use AI” and my mom said yes without giving it much thought (she knows the differences) and lol oh boy no that’s not even the same thing anymore 😂😅

Can't wait for poor gamedevs having to explain why their credits listings have "AI programmer" in them 😩

unfortunately genAI and LLMs are what a lot people think of now in regards to what AI is as a whole. Can't really blame them because of how unavoidable they are these days, but I agree that the lack of nuance is sad.
