Finished Kaos on Netflix and it's exactly my jam: Greek mythology redux cast in modern day, sly plays on character references (I'd forgotten what Caeneus was famous for!), killer soundtrack--and the Olympians as the hyper rich is so believable. Can't wait for season 2 (Also really love Hades/Perse)
All of that, plus something unexpected: the glorious over-the-top yet deadly seriousness of it has helped me realize that not watching another season of Sandman or Good Omens is … ok, because there are plenty of good , original, creators who will get their turn! If that makes sense?
I’ve got this on my watchlist
Started watching this on your recommendation. I recognized where the opening scenes were filmed right off--that's the Villa D'este in Tivoli. I've been there!
Jeff is so Jeff it’s glorious
And Dionysus is awesome too, poor boy who tries so hard and falls in love with a woman who's smart and resourceful and deadly.
We're up to episode 6, loving and loving the musical soundtrack to it
I loved how they showed how selfish the gods are, especially Zeus. I loved how the scenes were made in the underworld and I loved Hades and Persephone and how they retold some of the myths I really want to see a second season of this
I read a fun book called Lore now that you reminded me of it.
Yes, please!
I saw a review that loved the first seven episodes, and utterly hated the last to the point they were strongly disrecommending the whole thing. I'm happy to hear you not reacting the same way
