Countdown to Trump talking about how drug cartels are using sharks to smuggle cocaine into the country:
Great idea. She definitely needs some more cutaways showing the cheering crowd.
Biden withdrew from the 1988 race. His 2008 performance was so bad, he dropped out right after the Iowa caucus results: he was fifth place. But he went on to earn the biggest popular vote victory in American history and defeat Donald Trump. Conditions are now much more conducive for Kamala Harris.
Yeah, nobody really gave a crap about the last sentence of the 12th Amendment when she ran for vice president. The "natural-born American" vs "natural-born citizen" debate has never been serious. History of American presidential campaigns is full of people who don't meet that silly ideal.
As terrific as many of Bernie Sanders' ideas are, he simply hasn't proven he can attract a broad coalition. He didn't get enough votes from Blacks, Hispanics, and older Americans. Most young people don't vote. And the "socialist" label will stick. Without a massive establishment boost, he won't win.
Even a low effectiveness would be hugely helpful. Nearly 460,000 African children under the age of five die from malaria every year. This pattern has been in place for decades (it was in the millions every year!). Even a reduction of a third would prevent SO MUCH pain and heartbreak.
Great formula for the GOP: Put up a toxic Republican candidate, replace the opposing party's candidate with a "moderate" Republican.
