Prints I’ll have with me include (but are not limited to) this heap of bags I’m in the process of photographing for the shop!

A pile of assorted sizes of fabric drawstring bags ranging from small dice bags to folded larger bags and even some flattened zippered box bags.

I’ll be vending at the last block party of the season, this Sunday, October 13! Come out to Main Street in Northampton to see the many vendors (myself included!) and hear music, get delicious food, and celebrate Halloween a little early! #KSQshop

Thank you (sincerely) for the reminder that even if I don’t have Covid (I don’t, PCR says so) I can still be absolutely flattened by a virus that is NOT Covid, flu, or RSV, because bodies are flipping jerks.

I’d already basically decided I’m only willing to get black tattoos and only from artists willing to use inks that are approved in the EU — but this article is making me think I’m gonna have to do even more research than that!

Mutual aid is necessary and good. It just can’t be all of the safety net. Individual donors should not be picking and choosing who gets help.

The amount of work that goes into running fundraisers for things that should absolutely be covered by the government and the redistribution of wealth via taxes in a just society…it’s a lot. You need some clout, some charisma, some writing skill, and it doesn’t hurt to be conventionally attractive

My hot mutual aid take is that while MA is absolutely good, it is also generally not distributed equitably and you should not have to be a skilled online fundraiser to stay alive.

Late morning boost. Can you help my classmate’s nephew Flynn get his feet back under him? His extended family is all tapped out, and he hasn’t met his (modest! reasonable!) GFM goal to replace everything that was wrecked when his apartment was flooded and the ceiling fell in.
