There used to be a Horse Fayre in Ridgmont until the 16th or 17th Century. Grandda Smith taught me that Lydd's Hill is sacred ground to Travellers. We worshipped there on a Sunday morning; me, him and Sparkle the Dog, picking Chestnuts and listening to the trees 💖
