The only lifecycle I see is continuous iteration through fully cross-functional product development teams that deliver every day or so, and that never ends; it just stops where there's not enough revenue to justify continuing. There is no "life cycle." It's continuous. 2/3
Any philosophy that involves requirements gathering, big up-front design, implementation by minions, a separate test organization, and other assembly-line thinking—in other words, the SDLC—is doomed to failure. It's 19th century thinking. 3/3
