🚨Louisiana has passed a bill out of committee that would END ALL LEGAL RECOGNITION of trans people. It goes even farther than that and BANS trans people from bathrooms in schools and other facilities that are separated based upon gender.

PART 1-A. WOMEN'S SAFETY AND PROTECTION ACT §55. Short title This Part shall be known as and may be cited as the "Women's Safety and Protection Act". §56. Purpose The purpose of this Part is all of the following: (1) To clarify and reconcile the meaning of sex, male, female, and related terms in state law. (2) To provide protections for women and girls against sexual assault, harassment, and violence in correctional facilities, juvenile detention facilities, domestic violence shelters, dormitories, and restrooms, or where women have been traditionally afforded safety and protection from acts of abuse committed by biological men.
