I don’t know why I expected anything from this because I found the book pretty [lol] bland but idk, I feel like the aesthetics had such potential.

That was competent and almost entirely devoid of character. I think the excessive need for CGI hampered it because CGI looks so dodgy these days, all the set pieces that should’ve been cool (the hoverboarding!) looked too fake. I’ve seen worse I guess.
