That's one thing I love about this new hobby, mistakes aren't wasteful, they're just experience. It makes me feel much better about what a beginner I am and how much I mess up - there's nothing to be precious about, drop it in a bucket, reuse it again down the line.

Anyway I've been learning pottery for about two and a half months and I feel pretty okay with where I am, still a total beginner but starting to be a little more consistent. Sometimes. Baby steps!!

Also I killed a perfect good flowerpot trying to trim a decent foot on it and punched a hole in a mediocre bowl, same thing 😩 I tried to save the bowl, we'll see. But hey: I know how to reclaim the clay now for failures so that's neat!

I know R is busy because you don't already know all of this 😂 The dishwasher can't be installed because they can't shut off the water because our valves are too old and breaking down... good news is because of this we caught it before it became a disaster at least.

Plus Mom liked it, and she also watched Dragnet reruns on Nick at Nite.
