Yup, I've heard the story a few times.

I had to look this up, and damn for a demo disc with so many bangers on it to be such a trap... I loved demo discs! Great way to experience a variety of new games before they were all over advertising, and demos are a lost artform to try before you buy. Especially as a kid with limited cash.
