Hey #kidlit#artshare. Post two versions of the same piece of art, 1) sketch 2) finished art. It’s good to show art directors like me how you handle sketches. It’s good to model for emerging illustrators how detailed a sketch needs to be. Could be a useful thread. 💙❤️

Hello everyone, I'm Alina, a children's book illustrator who loves colorful illustrations with a sprinkling of humor. Thank you for the art share!

Sneaky bears are pulling of the heist of the century. Outdoor barbeque scene where some bears are distracting the humans while they sneak off with their food. A surprised kid sees them in the act while trying to get his dad's attention.
The mare beat her hoof on the flagstones as the prince leaned forward in the saddle. "Move aside furry dragon! The princess shall no longer be your captive" The dragon bellowed, "You'll not be taking her away young prince! Not until this good boy gets his belly rubs!"
A comical scene unfolds on a tropical beach, where a rabbit wizard is levitating an exceptionally agile pika to the top of an ancient temple, so that they can claim the enormous emerald sitting above the entrance.
Potions class at the Squirrel Wizarding School is interrupted when a student's incantation goes awry, transforming him into a sheep.
