Early days, but at least short term we're having a lovely bounce today. Let's see what happens. Only idiots and shysters make definitive predictions in the stock market.
Ah, I started in 2012, but only started recording weekly returns lately. There's been some scary drops along the way but luckily I'm naturally quite stoic. The last few years have been quite tough. If you can survive this you'll be set when easy times return.
I only started recently. I was interested to see the equity curve over the year as it ebs and flows. It definitely requires a certain stoicism though!
I find the AIM 100 a good gauge of uk small cap market sentiment. That 3550ish level seems like support. Be interesting to see if it bounces or breaks next week. If it breaks could we see it back down to 3200? Or even covid lows?
If that's a soggy week, mine was a bloody deluge. -4.9% 👎🏻
Market feels a bit indecisive right now. I guess with the USA election and upcoming budget a lot of people are keeping powder dry. I plan to sit through it, but if I do sell anything and have some cash I'll probably sit on that (unless a real bargain comes up).
Funnily enough, that's exactly the vibe I'm getting today, the Monty python Yorkshireman sketch. I just stay out of it and moan on here.
I remember the good old days when Stockopedia SCVR had quite a strict "no politics" rule in the comments. That was nice.
