If you can’t bring yourself to admit that we need masks for wildfire smoke, Covid and whatever the next pandemic will be, I hope you can at least see that this is about intensifying hyper surveillance and comes straight from the cops.
There is a huge warehouse that has been burning for over a month in my town and the company that owns it has skipped every town hall meeting and ignored requests for comments. People near it wake up with bloody noses and are mad at the health department for trying to supply masks.

Yes. Exactly this. We are expected to die by disease to keep a cop happy. BTW I am an older grey haired lady who was NOWHERE NEAR this reactionary as a young person. We are doomed. The world is going to hell in a handbasket.
