We Europeans like to make fun of the geography knowledge of many US Americans But I just learned that Alabama has sea access and beaches. So something about a pot and a kettle or some stones in a glasshouse

A friend of my dad's, who lives in Georgia, which is right next door, didn't know Alabama had beaches, so don't feel too bad. It's a beautiful state with some of the most diverse flora and fauna in the nation, too.

a lot of Americans would be surprised to learn this too LOL
