I would settle for turning them into rakes. I am so tired of walking/biking through clouds of spiky moldy dust.
When we moved into a house, a leaf blower became necessary... but we bought an electric one, because I loathe the gas ones!

In the building where I used to live, there was a guy who’d come in and start leafblowering the parking area DIRECTLY outside my window at 5am. He could not be deterred—yelling at him only made him more powerful, and reporting the noise ordinance violation did absolutely nothing.
