Just registered for the Midwinter Conference of Immunologists. Looks like a great lineup. Also happy to get out of Boston in late January. #Immunosky www.midwconfimmunol.org
It was such a beautiful day so why not have class outside? Great discussions on some hot topics in Virology.
I'm Amanda, and I just got here. My work on respiratory infections has expanded to studying how the lungs are the central regulator of systemic processes in the body such as infection and skin wound healing. I am a prof at Brown University. Also recently funded and looking for post-docs and/or RAs!
Science on Bluesky is growing rapidly! Science friends, introduce yourselves below and I’ll share! Who are you? What do you work on? Where are you based? I’ll go first. I’m David, and I study sharks and their conservation. I’m based in the Washington, DC area. 🧪🦑🌎🦈🐡
The take home message is that even if the entire world tells you that you're working on something unimportant and you struggle to get funding or keep a job there's a one in a million chance you'll get a prize with which you could buy a two rooms apartment multiple decades later
