Whenever I remember these things, I remind myself we got the opposite in Batman the animated series with hot man-bat. In like a dirtbag hs boyfriend way. They could have given him Jorts but he would have been too powerful.

See, for me the problem was that the Beast *was* handsome as a human. Because it didn’t do anything for me. The audience didn’t fall in love with Prince whoever, they fell for the big furry monster!
