Rejoice with me! This is the day … Publication Day for my 15th book, ‘Do Not Be Afraid’. I still can’t believe that the Archbishop of York commissioned me to write it. Commissions are always challenges, but joyous ones. Stephen Cottrell calls these meditations ‘luminous’. #advent #christmas

It's publication day for this beastly little volume of poetry from Sidekick Books, which although slim, includes my longest poem yet, in which a band of queer wordsmiths defend Edinburgh from the ravages of a muckle ugsome creature.
