This is really good to see: Sandi Toksvig has been supportive previously but this is a new clarity. This is open support for Trans people at a level which she knew in advance would bring her hate and abuse. She's done it anyway.

I've seen some recent interviews and it seems like Sandi's in that 'I've had enough of walking on eggshells, so I'm gonna just speak my mind because I'm financially secure enough to take it the backlash' mood. And if she's gonna use it to uplift vulnerable people, then good on her.

What I find HILARIOUS is that the terfs have made so much noise about not wanting transwomen in women-only space that to get around this shops and other businesses that provide loos are making them ALL unisex. So they've shot themselves in the foot very effectively, and women have lost safe spaces.

After the way she was outed back in the 90s, she must know exactly what this kind of hate-driven monstering feels like, and I'm glad she's using her experience for good. TBH after she had Suzy Eddie Izzard on her "holidays with women" show, we could see she had drawn her line.
